A Cappella Success

On Friday we entered the Independent School Association’s first National A Cappella Competition held in Reading. With schools coming from all over the country including Derby, Shrewsbury and Portsmouth we faced teams with children considerably older than us but we enjoyed every moment.
The judges were the winners of Gareth Malone’s BBC competition, The Naked Choir – the talented Sons of Pitches. They loved the performance by our Year 2 team of 9 called The Mini-uets!  We won the prize for ‘Most Engaging Performance’ and the judges commented upon the solos, the choreography and the exceptional sound. We were incredibly proud and thank the ISA for such an exciting event.
