A Trip Back In Time

What a glorious day out at Guildford Victorian Schoolroom Museum. The compulsory period costume for staff and pupils really helped to set the scene and we ensured that for our group photo we copied the serious expressions seen in authentic Victorian photos. We had so many rules to remember and learnt about the punishments for forgetting them. We had many opportunities to ask questions during our interactive sessions and the children began to feel very lucky to have been born in the 21st Century. Then it was into the gardens to play with a range of Victorian toys in the warm sunshine. What a wonderful day.
