The children in Year 1 were thrilled with their activity during Engineering Week that centred around building bridges. Before their workshop they watched a presentation featuring a viaduct bridge in France so high that it appears to sit above the clouds. The children then designed and made their own bridges. When asked about bridges around the world, most children mentioned the spectacular bridge in Newcastle. Why? Google it and have a look!
