The Mary Rose

Year 2 had a wonderful time being shown around an amazing museum whilst walking on the false half of The Mary Rose, but overlooking the real half of The Mary Rose. They were fascinated by the information they acquired and were able to recall lots of this back at school and at home with their parents.

Did you know? They used Dogs for catching rats and not cats because cats were seen as the companion of witches!

The children did a super workshop called ‘Henry’s Heroes’ where they looked at different materials and clothing worn by the people doing different jobs on board the ship. They were even lucky enough to try some on.
