Where’s my Bear?

Our topic this term in ‘Where’s my Bear?’.

Our topic work will be generated by a selection of wonderful books about bears. We have started with Golidilocks and the Three Bears which encourages lots of mathematical language talking about size.  We have dressed teddies ready to go out and have also been making and tasting porridge. We have made ‘Wanted Posters’ to find Golidlocks as she needs to come back and say sorry to the 3 bears! Thankfully the Nursery and Pre-Reception children are helping us put things back together. They have been busy at the wood work bench sawing wood ready to fix baby bears chair.

Our new book is ‘Can’t you Sleep Little Bear’ and we have been exploring night and day, light and dark. We’ve had fun exploring in our dark cave!
