A Charitable Success

Last term we decided to raise funds to support a new school being built in Cambodia called Pong Tek. The charity United World Schools ensured that 100% of all monies raised would go directly to the school. We told the children that just £1 would pay for a child to go to school for a whole week and the children and staff all became excited by this opportunity to make a difference. Our aim was to raise £300 but thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our parents we were able to write a cheque for £1271:37.  Anna Tvrz from UWS was delighted to visit the school and gave a wonderful presentation which inspired us all!
