Nursery Fun Both In and Out

Our topic this term is Rhyme Time. We started with bus fun with the lovely song ‘The Wheels on the bus’ and this week we have been enjoying activities connected with ‘One Two Buckle my Shoe’. We have been measuring feet with both bricks and rulers and have decided what shoes we would choose in a shoe shop. In the kitchen we were exploring ‘five,six pick up sticks’ by making delicious cheese straws.

Meanwhile  in preparation for the spring growing season the children worked cooperatively to clear the Woodland Garden of old leaves then help transport the compostable materials up to the compost bin.
