YR 2 British Wildlife Centre

Year 2 have enjoyed a wonderful day at the British Wildlife Centre. They were able to see and learn about the many types of animals that live in our hedgerows and gardens. If you want to know what a deer, fox, hedgehog or even an otter eats please ask our Year 2 they are now wildlife experts! Today they found out many facts like the difference between a vole or a field mouse and how long it takes a male deer to grow its antlers. A highlight of the day apart from seeing so many wild animals up close was being able to hold an antler and seeing how heavy it really is.
