Investigating Plants at Wakehurst Place

The Year 2 science work was rounded off with a trip to Wakehurst Place on Wednesday. Spirits were not dampened despite the weather’s best attempts. They had a fantastic time looking at amazing seeds. Who knew a single blueberry held so many seeds?

The children enjoyed looking through microscopes and pollinated flowers in the gardens. It was a joyful educational visit!
