World Book Day- Bedtime Stories.

Having enjoyed World Book Day on 4th March remotely with some lovely story based activities, we saved the best until the children returned!
On Wednesday 10th we had our themed book day – Bedtime Stories- where we all came to school in pyjamas together with our favourite bedtime story. Wonderful activities were on offer including a live zoom session with Claire Freedman author of ‘Aliens Love Underpants’ amongst 120 other triumphs! The children prepared some wonderful questions for her such as ‘Are you in any of your books?’(Izzy age 6). We enjoyed a ‘midnight feast’ of chocolate milk and rocky road and the Bookmark design competition was very hard to judge with prizes awarded to each year group.
It was a glorious day and, thanks to the PTA, we all went home with an adorable little teddy.
