St Christopher’s Remembers

Last week, our Year 2 children were honoured to represent St Christopher’s at the formal opening of the Borough of Epsom and Ewell Field of Remembrance at Bourne Hall.

Their performance of “In Flanders Fields” was moving and beautifully sung. A special well done to Cora and Luigi, who sang their solo parts superbly with confidence.

On 11th November, the whole school gathered in the playground for our traditional Remembrance Service. Together, we observed two minutes of silence to remember those who gave their lives so that we may live in peace. Year 2 once again shared their thoughtful performance of “In Flanders Fields”, and our Head Girl and Head Boy scattered petals in quiet reflection.

We are very proud of our children for the respect and composure they showed during these moments of remembrance. It was a meaningful opportunity for our school community to pause, reflect, and give thanks for the bravery and sacrifice of all who have served.
