St Christopher’s Highly Commended in the ISA Awards 2026

We are delighted to share that St Christopher’s has been Highly Commended in the Independent Schools Association (ISA) Awards 2026 for Excellence and Innovation in Early Years.

This wonderful recognition celebrates the care, creativity and dedication of our Early Years team and comes at an especially exciting time as we prepare to open our year-round nursery.

Celebrating Our Talented Young Artists

We are also thrilled to share some fantastic results from the ISA Regional Art Competition. The children’s artwork was submitted during the summer term, and we were delighted to discover that St Christopher’s achieved two first-place and four second-place awards. Congratulations to all our talented young artists:

1st Place – Leo
“Blossom Burst” – watercolour on tissue, created using a palette knife and fingerprints.

1st Place – Aarthvika
Textiles inspired by Hundertwasser – created using Gutta pens and silk paint.

2nd Place – Ashwin
“Hundertwasser’s House” – a 3D creation using air-dry clay, acrylics and moss.

2nd Place – Nursery Group
“Sunflowers” – 3D group artwork.

2nd Place – KS1 Group
“Wheatfield with Cypress Trees” – 3D group artwork.

2nd Place – Year 2 Art Club
Felted Bunting inspired by Hundertwasser.

We are especially excited that Leo and Aarthvika’s first-place entries will now progress to the ISA National Art Competition final in November. This is a fantastic achievement, and we are incredibly proud of all our young artists.

A very special thank you also goes to our wonderful former Art Teacher, Mrs Degg. These fantastic results are a fitting final accolade following her retirement in the summer and a lovely reflection of the creativity and enthusiasm she inspired in so many children throughout her 20 wonderful years at St Christopher’s.
