St Christopher’s Launches New Year-Round Nursery

We are delighted to announce that, from January 2027, St Christopher’s will offer year-round Nursery care, giving families even greater choice and flexibility.

Available for 48 weeks of the year, Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 6.00pm, our new Year-Round Nursery will give families greater flexibility while providing children with a familiar, nurturing environment throughout the year. Children choosing the year-round model can join from the week they turn two, becoming part of the St Christopher’s community from the very beginning.

More than year-round care

From the very beginning, children are part of the wider St Christopher’s community. Alongside a carefully planned Early Years curriculum, they benefit from specialist teaching in French, Forest School, Music and PE, join assemblies and celebrations, perform on stage and enjoy the school’s grounds, facilities and traditions.

Independence is woven into everyday Nursery life, with children encouraged to make choices, solve problems and do more for themselves. Whether preparing snacks in our child-sized kitchen, pouring their own drinks, dressing independently or caring for their belongings, these everyday experiences help children develop confidence and important life skills.

We know that starting Nursery is an important milestone, so we work closely with families to help each child settle in with confidence. With both Year-Round and Term-Time Nursery options, families can choose the provision that best suits their needs, with funded childcare also available for eligible families.
