A Potter’s Wheel

To complement our Class Topic;  `Round and Round we go` together with our Science Topic about `Materials’, the children in Year 1 were visited and totally inspired  by the potter Claire Waterhouse. The children were fascinated to see how the potter`s wheel worked and were amazed at the wonderful creations she made . Lambert asked for a large jug and within a few minutes one was created! Rafferty said `It`s fantastic – you are amazing!` and she was!
