SAFEGUARDING: The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, parents, carers and visitors to share this commitment. Enhanced DBS checks are carried out on all St Christopher’s school and nursery staff. Please note that in line with the school’s Safeguarding & Child Protection policy, if the school has a serious concern over the welfare of a child, it has a duty to refer that concern to the relevant agencies in consultation with parents. In circumstances where the Headteacher has serious concerns that the child may be at further risk in the home, then parental consent may not be necessary.
The Headteacher, Mrs Bronia Grehan, is the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and Mrs Laura Fisher (Deputy Head) is the Deputy DSL. A copy of our Safeguarding & Child Protection policy is available from the School office and below on the website. Parents may request a hard copy of our Safeguarding & Child Protection policy.
