One, Two, Three, Four, Five…

What a wonderful week it has been singing lots of different nursery rhymes for National Nursery rhyme week.

At the start of the week it was lovely to hear the songs the children had been practising at home over the weekend, the children impressed us all with their beautiful singing.

There were lots of activities focusing on nursery rhymes, counting how many frogs on the lily pads, the children did a fantastic job with their counting, well done everybody!

In our outdoor area the children showed great gross motor skills as we pretended to be frogs and jump on and off lily pads (hoops).

And finally, if all that singing wasn’t enough, we spent some time looking and talking about books. We discussed how we look after our books and how much fun can be had from reading and sharing books together!
