During our annual Poetry Recital Week, every child in the school learns a poem. During the first two days with an emphasis on performance, the children perform their poem to their class friends and earn a beautiful certificate in recognition of this achievement with the oldest child aged 7 and the youngest just 2. On Wednesday we all enjoyed a Highly Commended Performance in the Hall complete with microphone and stage. The Grand Final was then held on Thursday with an impossibly high standard in front of two guest judges. Prizes for first, second and third place were awarded in the 2 years to 5 years category and also in the 6 years to 7 years category. What a delightful week.
