French Day

Huge thanks are due to the whole team for making French Day such a success. In sport Mrs Pryor ran The Tour de France on scooters awarding the famous ‘yellow jersey’ to each winner. The grand final was a magnificent event cheered on by the whole school. In music the older children learnt how to play the Can Can whilst the younger children learnt the dance. In Art we studied Monet and Matisse and had fun copying their style. The Design and Technology challenge to build an Eiffel Tower was very popular and French themes were everywhere. Madam James who created this wonderful day ran the Cafe with a delicious selection of food tasting on offer. C’est Manifique!
