The sun shone as we all hurried out on to the playground to take part in our annual Great House Pancake Relay Race. Celebrating a centuries old tradition on Shrove Tuesday, the children learn about how to make pancakes as well as how to race whilst flipping a pancake in a frying pan. Every child joined in and showed impressive coordination as they raced along. Kemp House won the Upper School Relay Race and the honours went to Donaldson for the younger pupil’s Race. What a delight!
