Visit from author Kes Gray

The whole school were treated to an afternoon of fun and laughter this week when children’s author Kes Gray visited St Christopher’s. He used entertaining props and a wide range of his books to entertain our lucky children and he was impressed with their contributions as he posed some memory questions following a look at some pages of illustrations. The children had 5 challenges to solve with the potential win of 5 new Kes Gray books for our library. They answered them all correctly, the final answer provided by 3 year old Heidi, and so we have 5 signed texts shining brightly in our library. Kes inspired and entertained the children with his narrative about his school days and about the challenges he has faced as an author. He did it all with wit and charm and kept the whole school enthralled for over an hour. Thank you Kes Gray!
