A Royal Celebration

In advance of Saturday’s Royal Wedding, St Christopher’s enjoyed a traditional garden party of their own. Following a morning with some royal studies of monarchs both past and present we felt prepared and ready to celebrate with the rest of the country and indeed the world.

Imagine our delight when, following our special wedding lunch, the Handbells Club heralded the arrival of some special guests.  As the Club played The Wedding March followed by the National Anthem the Royal couple stood waving to the adoring crowds who responded with enthusiastic flag waving!

The Staff, dressed patriotically in red, white and blue, smiled in the sunshine and joined in with the celebrations. Following the departure of the Royal couple, everyone gathered on the lawn for some party dancing including The Macarena and ending with a giant conga. What a wonderful day.
