Coding Fun

Year 2 have been learning how to code using the iPads and Lego. They have learnt how to create and program Milo the Lego Robot to detect different objects using the Motion Sensor Input. The Year 2s have learnt how to follow quite complicated on-screen directions to build their Lego Robots and then, using their knowledge of coding, got Milo to respond to their instructions. The final challenge was to test the speed that Milo could move at to see what was the optimum speed he could move to detect the plant specimen, reverse and then play music. After determined effort together with trial and error the children navigated Milo around the course and the buzz in the classroom was electric!
