We were so delighted to welcome new friends from 7 schools who joined us for our 10th Annual Music Festival in the presence of Mayor Councillor John Beckett and other special guests.
215 children joined together to form a huge choir conducted by the brilliant Mr Adam Assen our guest music consultant from Caterham School. The children as a massed choir impressed the audience with their musicality and each school then performed two pieces each, one a school favourite and one in an additional language or with an international flavour. Other highlights included a delightful flute ensemble and a stunning trio of piano, cello and violin.
All the children then returned to school to enjoy lunch together before heading out onto fields to play together in the spring sunshine. What a wonderful day.
