Ready Steady Go!

Our new topic has started with the children finding out about a range of vehicles, and then focusing on the ‘Naughty Bus’ book by Jan and Jerry Oke. We have had great fun painting red buses and also creating our own red bus using our self-portraits as the passengers. Outside this week the children have enjoyed exploring the Giant Polydron to create vehicles or use themselves as vehicles with the wheels! Our roleplay at the moment is a Bus Station and a Bus which the children have loved using to roleplay different characters. It has been wonderful observing the children in their play and watching how they cleverly switch roles with just the change of a hat! This week the children are creating their own stories for the Naughty Bus…I wonder what exciting adventures he will go on!
