Singing ‘In Flanders Fields’ at Bourne Hall’s Remembrance Garden

Year 2 sang their beautiful piece ‘In Flanders Fields’ in the presence of the Mayor and other schools at the Formal Opening of The Field of Remembrance at Bourne Hall last week. At this solemn occasion the children heard the curator of the Bourne Hall Museum speak about the importance of telling the next generation about the life stories of soldiers who lost their lives fighting for their country. The children then planted their crosses in this special field. It was a very thought provoking
