World Book Day Fun

Literary adventures unfolded during our celebration of World Book Day at St Christopher’s.

It was a day filled with excitement, creativity, and a shared love of storytelling. The highlight of the day was our spectacular World Book Day parade, where the entire school community came together to showcase an impressive array of costumes and characters inspired by beloved books. From classic literary figures to modern-day superheroes, our pupils brought their favourite characters to life with enthusiasm and creativity. We were honoured to welcome the author, Peter Bentley, to our school, who captivated the children with tales of story writing. His engaging presentation inspired our young writers and ignited their imaginations, reminding them of the boundless possibilities that exist within the pages of a book.

We even managed to achieve our goal of reading 85 books to celebrate our 85th year!
