Reception investigating Space and Light in the Explorer Dome

Reception were very excited to enhance their Space Topic with a visit from www.explorerdome.co.uk to learn more about space and light. The children were engaged the moment they started crawling through the dark tunnel guided by a path of lights, as they listened to stories and facts presented in a lively and fun way, and when regularly being asked to interact individually or as a group. Our children also impressed with their knowledge and understanding of space facts. Back in the classroom the children became detectives, so that they could identify the mysterious objects covered in foil sent to them from space. Some amazing writing was produced.
